Quétier, France, 1839
Beautiful soft, lilac-pink flowers, darker at the center and paler at the edges, with a pleasant fruity scent. ‘Angélique Quétier’ has nice mid-green, course foliage; not many prickles on stems. Soft brownish green moss on buds and flowerstalks. Graham StuartThomas seems to think that the moss denotes a Damask derivation.
